The Dangerous Lie Some Men Still Believe About Women’s Value.

Some Men Still Think a Woman’s Worth Ends If She’s Not a Virgin, a Single Mom, or Still Single at 30+? Some men act like a woman loses all value the moment she is no longer a virgin, has a child, or hasn’t married by 30+. It’s shocking, disrespectful, and completely unfair and yet, it’s still truly honorable when a woman chooses to remain pure before marriage. But no woman should ever be degraded, shamed, or dismissed because of her past, her circumstances, or her age. It is shocking and frankly disgusting that some men think a woman's value is defined solely by her virginity. The idea that once a woman is no longer a virgin she should be “bastusin,” ignored, or expected never to demand respect is utterly wrong. Worse, to tell single mothers that they have no right to complain or assert themselves is pure cruelty. This kind of thinking is not only disrespectful; it is sinful. A truly God-fearing man will not demean or weaponize a woman’s past against her. The truth is, a woman’s worth is never measured by her sexual history. Biblical women like Hannah, Ruth, or even Mary Magdalene (whose life was redeemed by Christ) demonstrate that character, faith, and courage define real value. Women can carry children, face hardship, or be single mothers, yet still embody grace, integrity, and strength. They can and do find respectful, loving husbands who honor them, not because of their past, but because of who they are in Christ. For women in difficult situations: never allow anyone to trample your dignity, self-worth, or womanhood. Society or even a few toxic men may try to make you feel less, ugly, or unworthy. Do not buy into that lie. Your identity is rooted in God, who sees your heart, your courage, and your purpose. Respect yourself, set boundaries, and refuse to be treated as less than you are. To men with this mindset: it is time to examine your heart. Treating women as disposable or defining their value by their virginity is not manly, it is cruel. True strength, respect, and honor are shown when you lift women up instead of tearing them down. A wise man values character, integrity, and God-centered living over shallow judgments. Remember, God’s design for womanhood is sacred. Virginity does not define it; purity of heart, faithfulness, and moral courage do. Women who have children, have struggles, or have a past still shine brightly when they walk in God’s truth. There are still good men who will recognize this and love them with honor. Let us all, men and women alike, remember: respect, dignity, and character are timeless measures of worth. And anyone who tries to diminish that is walking in pride, ignorance, and sin. "Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." – Proverbs 31:30
