True biblical repentance—a radical, uncomfortable turning from sin—is non-negotiable for salvation, and modern society’s demand for a tolerant, judgment-free God is a dangerous distortion of the Gospel that trades the holiness of Christ for the applause of the crowd.
We are told today that "love is tolerance" and "judgment is bad." We are told that we should not impose our morals on others. But Jesus said, "Judge not, that you be not judged." He wasn't saying we shouldn't discern truth from lies; He was saying we shouldn't be hypocritical. More importantly, He commanded us to repent. He said, "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand." Repentance means a change of mind. It means turning away from your sin. If you are not willing to be offended by your sin, you are not willing to be saved by Jesus. The world will reject this message. They will call it hateful, judgmental, and archaic. They will say it is outdated and oppressive. But they will be wrong. The truth is found in the blood of the Lamb, not in the applause of the crowd. The truth is that God is holy, man is sinful, and the only way to salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ. Anything less is a lie.
