Crowded With Fire

Gnosis 122 views

**CROWDED WITH FIRE** is a dark, cinematic retelling of Elisha and his servant surrounded by the army of Aram, drawn from **2 Kings 6:8–23**.

When the servant wakes and sees soldiers, horses, and chariots encircling the city, he believes there is no escape. Elisha remains calm and prays for his eyes to be opened. In that moment, the servant sees what had been hidden: the mountain surrounding them is filled with horses and chariots of fire.

The song explores the tension between the visible army below and the unseen force above. Fear says they are surrounded, but opened eyes reveal that the enemy is not the only presence on the mountain.

Unlike most of my darker, heavier releases, **CROWDED WITH FIRE** moves through a mellow, hypnotic techno sound. Its steady pulse and catchy rhythm give the story a dreamlike quality, reflecting the moment when an ordinary hillside suddenly becomes crowded with an unseen world of fire.

The story then takes an unexpected turn. Elisha does not call for the fiery army to destroy the soldiers. Instead, the enemy is struck with confusion, led into Samaria, given food and water, and released.

**CROWDED WITH FIRE** is a story about fear, hidden realities, restrained power, and the unsettling possibility that what we can see is only part of what surrounds us.

**Biblical source:** 2 Kings 6:8–23, especially verses 15–23.
