Our Story

Sanctum Chamber wasn’t built by a corporate board or a massive tech team. It was born from a vision of what online fellowship should be: stable, feature-rich, and truly community-focused.

While the site is currently maintained and driven forward by a solo developer, its foundation was built on the contributions of those who saw the potential for something better. We owe our identity to SavedbyG, who gave us the name “Sanctum Chamber,” providing the very “walls” of the sanctuary we inhabit today.

Our digital front door also carries a lasting legacy; though the platform has evolved, much of the landing and the heart of our interface was originally crafted by selfishgirl. Her creative work laid the groundwork for the experience you see today. Even as the journey continues individually, their influence remains a pivotal part of the Chamber’s DNA.

True Fellowship: Why We Don’t Ban for Views

One of the biggest frustrations in modern chat culture is “the ban hammer.” On many sites, if you don’t fit a specific mold or hold a specific opinion, you’re shown the door.

We do things differently here. At Sanctum Chamber, we believe that iron sharpens iron. We do not ban users for having a difference of views. Whether you’re here to dive deep into Christian theology or you just have a different perspective on life, your voice is welcome.

We prioritize conversation over cancellation. While we maintain a respectful environment, we don’t believe in silencing people just because we don’t see eye-to-eye.

What We Offer

• This site: The landing experience, VIP and ranks summaries, Rules, donate, legal pages, blog highlights from Sanctum Blogs, and staff-written updates in News when we publish them.
• Sanctum Blogs: Member blogging with a public blog index wired into the Chamber.
• Live chat: Main and private rooms, profiles, uploads when your rank or VIP allows them, reporting, and paths to staff moderation.
• Games (Games menu): Open the left sidebar Games menu in chat for Blackjack, Four Colors, Spin Wheel, Video Poker, Roll the Dice, VIP Chess, VIP Checkers, and VIP Canasta (VIP board/card games follow the eligibility rules shown in chat). When your layout shows it, Roll the Dice is also on the chat footer.
• VIP & ranks: Straightforward tiers that unlock extra chat and site tools—the specifics stay in Rules, help text, and the VIP panel.
• Research notes (Scrolls): Optional workflow on the site to keep study notes alongside chat when you use Scrolls.
