Contact
Sanctum Chamber is a small, independent community. Real people read every message — there is no ticket queue, no chatbot triage, and no outsourced support center. If you take a moment to write clearly, we will take the time to read carefully.
The fastest way to reach us is by email:
Please use a descriptive subject line and include any account name(s), URLs, screenshots, or timestamps that help us understand the issue. The more context we have, the faster we can respond. We typically reply within 1–3 business days; complex moderation appeals or DMCA matters can take longer because they are reviewed by senior staff, not by an automated tool.
What you can write to us about
- Account, login, or sign-in trouble — including password reset issues, locked accounts, and recovery requests.
- Content moderation appeals — if you believe a chat ban, room kick, or content removal was applied incorrectly, write to us and reference the rule you were cited under. Every moderation action is logged with a reason, and every appeal is read by a human moderator who did not issue the original action.
- Bug reports and feature requests — broken pages, glitches in Sanctum Blogs, problems uploading images, or ideas for things you’d like to see. Reproduction steps and your browser/device help a lot.
- DMCA / copyright inquiries — send the URL of the allegedly infringing material, a description of the original work, your contact information, and a good-faith statement of ownership.
- Privacy and data-deletion requests — see our Privacy Policy for what data we hold, how to request a copy, and how to ask for deletion.
- Press, advertising, and partnership inquiries — including affiliate or sponsorship proposals, interview requests, and academic research about chat communities or AI moderation.
- Janice (our in-chat assistant) — if Janice gives a wrong answer, returns an error, or you have a feature idea for her, mention “Janice” in the subject and we’ll route it correctly.
Real-time chat
You can also catch staff and longtime members in real time inside our live chat. The general rooms are good for everyday questions, and most rooms have at least one moderator present during peak hours. If you need a private word with a staff member, send them a private message rather than posting account details in a public room.
Reporting abuse or safety concerns
If you witness harassment, doxxing, child-safety concerns, or anything that puts a member at risk, please contact us immediately at the email above with the word URGENT in the subject line. Include screenshots and links if you can — but do not delay your report in order to gather evidence. Real-time concerns inside chat can also be flagged to any moderator using the in-chat report tools. See our community rules for what is and is not allowed, and our about page for the philosophy behind how we moderate.
Mailing address
For legal notices that must be served by post, please email gnosis@sanctum-chamber.net first and we will provide the appropriate physical address. Sending paper mail without prior email coordination significantly delays the response.
What we won’t reply to
- Unsolicited bulk SEO, link-building, or “guest post” pitches.
- Demands to ban another member without any evidence or rule citation.
- Attempts to bypass moderation appeals by emailing the same complaint repeatedly from new addresses.
Beyond that, we genuinely appreciate hearing from you. Sanctum Chamber exists because real people show up and talk to each other — and that includes the conversations that happen in our inbox.
